Evening and weekend introductions to the great wines of France. Fun, cultural courses for tasting the great wines and vintages, learning how to do professional tasting, talking about wine using the right words and recognising the aromas and varieties.

The courses are divided into four 3-hour lessons (10.00 to 13.00 and 16.00 to 19.00). On the programme: Provence, Rhône, Bordeaux, Bourgogne and Champagne. At each lesson, six great wines are presented and explained by Joël CORRE, Director of the Institute of Oenology. At the end of the course you receive a certificate. The lessons are in French or English.

1. Initiation to tasting the great wines of France.
2. Tasting the great wines, advanced course.

OENOLOGY EVENINGS (individuals)

First Thursday of the month, 21.00 to 23.00

The lessons are guaranteed provided that ten people have registered. Catering and accommodation to be organised by attendees.

Individuals: Calendar on website, commission paid on price to travel agencies.

Groups: Maximum 16 people at the Institute of Oenology.

Courses run at Château de Calas for larger groups (55 people).
