Avignon, Pont du Gard, Castle of Tarascon
In the morning, we will visit the famous Pont d’Avignon or Bénezet Bridge, which has defied both the Rhône River and time, and inspired a song of the same name (ticket and audio-guide included in the price). We will then walk along the ramparts to reach the Cathedral Notre Dame des Doms and the Popes' Palace (ticket and audio-guide included but the tour is unaccompanied). After lunch (lunch is included if you've chosen this option), we will travel through the vineyards and pause at the famous Pont du Gard, the largest Roman acquaduct in existence (we'll take an hour's pause). Later, on our way back to Aix, we’ll pass by Tarascon and its castle on the Rhône River (we’ll take a pause).

You will have a day in the heart of the Alpilles mountain range, cultural center of Provence. We’ll start the day in Saint-Rémy de Provence were Van Gogh was hospitalized and where Nostradamus was born (we’ll take a 30-min pause). We’ll drive then by the Antics roman ruins that are still here after 2000 years, to reach the cloister Saint-paul-de-Mausole (ticket included but the tour is unaccompanied). There you’ll see Van Gogh’s bedroom and other sites Van Gogh painted during his stay in the psychiatric hospital (we’ll take a 30 min pause).
After a break for lunch (lunch is included if you have chosen the option), you will visit the medieval village of les Baux de Provence on its rock. We’ll then go to Arles (we’ll take an hour and a half pause) visiting the historic Gallo-Roman Center kept as a Unesco heritage site. You’ll discover the roman amphitheatre (ticket included but the tour is unaccompanied), the ancient theatre (visit optional), the Republic Square, Saint-Trophime Church, the town hall and the Forum Square.
Across the town, you’ll see 5 different scenes Van Gogh painted : The Draw Bridge, The Yellow House, The Stary Night on the Rhône River, The Outside of the Café at Night and The Garden of The Hospital where he was treated after cutting his ear off.

Fountain of the Vaucluse spring, Luberon
We will visit the régional Park and its picturesque villages.
As we decend into the valley, "la Fontaine de Vaucluse" bursts out of nowhere. Our guide will help discover the freshness and mystery that makes this site unforgettable (we'll take an hour's pause).
We will then take the road that leads us to the régional Park of the Luberon before heading towards the Abbey of Senanque surrounded by its lavender fields (we'll take a pause for a photo).

Deep blue is the sea, deep blue is the sky along this part of the Mediterranean coast, the wilderness of which is still preserved, in many places, from the summer "madding crowd". Stop by the seaside and short stroll along the coast where, centuries ago, the Gauls were trading in their villages overlooking the sea. The medieval tour: Tarascon/Villeneuve-les avignons/Chateauneuf du pape ( the "Véraison" fair)
Along small roads, arrival in Tarascon. Visit of Good King René's castle, a powerful fortress standing by the Rhone defending , in the past, the County of Provence. Continuation to Villeneuve-les-Avignon, a charming little town, rich with medieval architecture and which used to be the town of the cardinals during the stay of the popes in Avignon (XIVth century). Stop and free time for lunch. The day will go on with the traditional "Véraison" feast in Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
