A picturesque village (11th century) of the
Upper Valley of the Arc, with its houses nestling
around the church, Fuveau stands proudly facing
the Sainte-Victoire mountain. After living on the
traditional resources of Mediterranean countries,
the people of Fuveau (population 9,000) began to
exploit the rich mining deposits in the subsoil at
the end of the 19th century. With its rich history
and many cultural associations, Fuveau offers a
wide variety of activities for visitors, especially
an open-air history show in summer.
Don’t miss

Museum and La Campagno educational farm.
