Between the countryside and the mine, Gréasque
has a forest of 300 hectares where a fitness trail,
a mountain bike track and a leisure area have
been created around the magnificent Tombereau
site. In the centre of the mining villages is the
Hély d’Oissel Shaft, which now houses the
Mining Museum.
Its head frame, which is listed
as a Historical Monument, and the museum’s
rich collection, present all the aspects of mining
in Provence.
Gréasque also organises events
throughout the year. Summer in Gréasque
begins with the «Jazz en Sol Mineur» jazz
festival.
