Musée Edgar Mélik
9th century Mediaeval village built on a rocky outcrop.
Tour of Edgar Melik Museum installed in the old castle
which was destroyed at the end of the 12th century,
rebuilt in the 18th century. It houses the collection of the
painter Edgar Mélik. Visit lasts 30 mins.
Take the D543 towards Eguilles, then the D65 towards Ventabren.

Ventabren

Musée de Ventabren
Exhibition of many different objects found during
the excavations of the Celto-Ligurian oppidum of
Roquefavour, a few remains of Queen Jeanne’s castle,
and a few fragments of frescoes from the Saint-Honorat Hermitage.
Take the D64 and then Coudoux by the D65. Return to Velaux
by the D55c..

Velaux

Coopérative oléicole
Guided tours of mill and oil tasting.
Situated in the lower valley of the Arc, Velaux has one
of the rare traditional mills in Provence still working
with granite millstones and presses. The virgin olive
oil produced during the first cold press contains all the
goodness of a completely natural product.
