Fuveau
No matter where you are when you see the village, your eyes
will be drawn to the church tower on the hilltop and the houses nestling around
it. This natural sentry of the Upper Valley of the Arc, with its magnificent
location opposite the Sainte-Victoire, invites you to visit it.
Festive events, theme evenings
and meals shared in the gentle shade of the plane trees on Cours Leydet,
are organised regularly. Sardine meals, aïoli,
paella and other tasty dishes are frequently laid on to accompany musical entertainment,
concerts, markets and fairs.

Châteauneuf Le Rouge
Provençal Food
Festival.
At the foot of the Sainte-Victoire, by the Cengle Plateau, this village owes
its name to the red rocks of the plateau bed. Châteauneuf is on the
great Roman way "Via Aurelia" and was originally the site of a
coaching inn. For 14 years now, the village has held a Festival on the first
Sunday in July to celebrate the many aspects of Provençal produce
and cuisine.
Live music accompanies the tasting of local dishes on the shady village square:
restaurants, Master Chefs of France, vineyard owners, cheese-makers, winegrowers
of the Sainte-Victoire and fine confectioners and chocolatiers present their
finest produce to delight your palate.
