The Gallifet Hotel is a place of cultural events right in the center of Aix-en-Provence, located 52 Cardinale street in a XVIII° private mansion in the Mazarin neighbourhood, a stone's throw from the Musée Granet.
Founded and opened in 2010 by Nicolas Mazet, the art center of the Gallifet Hotel is a place dedicated to contemporary creation which welcomes exhibition, allowing the production of works and the edition of limited series of artists.
The place also offers refreshments and food, in the garden, under the shade of hundred years old trees.
The history tells us how the changing and dancing reflects on the ocher stones of the quarries of Bibemus, still decorating the garden of the Hotel de Gallifet, inspired future master of impressionism Paul Cezanne, whom as a child could see them from his windows.
Handicap Equipment: the garden and the rooms are accessible to disabled people.
