Hôtel d'Agut

Hôtel d'Agut

Private mansion

The Hôtel d'Agut was built in 1667 for Pierre d'Agut, a Member of Parliament.

The two figures supporting the central balcony are by Jean-Claude Rambot, while Jean-Louis Michel made the window ornaments, the corner niche and the overdoor.

The successive transformations of the interior mean that the decorations are no longer visible the entrance hall alone still has beams covered with moulded garlands.

The Hôtel d'Agut illustrates the evolution of the atlantes theme reintroduced into the region by Pierre Puget
