Hotel / Restaurant

A former paper mill that was converted into an inn when the Roquefavour Aqueduct was built in 1842. This spot in the Aix countryside is famous for its exceptional setting and high-quality restaurant. It has been run by the descendants of Monsieur Arquier for over 160 years. Nestled in the cool Arc Valley, beneath the world's biggest cut-stone aqueduct, the Maison Arquier is a warm and welcoming place, providing harmony for a getaway break or a work meeting.

A little piece of nature on a human scale, combining tradition and modern facilities, close to Les Milles area, the main Aix-en-Provence train station and Aix-Marseille Airport.

The 18 rooms all have bathrooms and a TV equipped with Chromecast. They are ideal for enjoying the country landscape.

The restaurant serves tasty cuisine based on organic ingredients from small, local farms, exceptional meat and fish, and environmentally friendly methods.

You can enjoy your meal in the dining room designed around the monumental fireplace or on the leafy terrace with an unmatched view over the Roquefavour Aqueduct.

The Maison Arquier serves a wide-range of specialities to be enjoyed with a glass of wine on our terraces or to take away. Picnic baskets are also on offer for your day out. Please order from reception the day before.
