Tourist office

Established as a principality in the 15th century and the seat of the Assembly of the Communities of Provence in the 17th and 18th centuries, the town has preserved some beautiful architecture, notably a number of private mansions (hôtels Pagy de Valbonne and Cadenet Charleval), closely related to the style of Aix. The church of Notre-Dame-de-la-Rose (18th century), a vast classical edifice, is capped with a splendid dome that lights the nave. It houses a veritable museum of Provençal painting.
