A walk in the footsteps of Cezanne & an artistic practice outdoors
Elodie, a tour guide spezialized in art history and painting, will tell you all about Cezanne’s history, his painting methods over time and why he chose to settle here for the last 10 years of his life.
On the second part, once we arrive on the Bibemus plateau, we will install your material in front of a landscape chosen by Emma Ricochastel, your teacher. She is an art teacher and painter and graduated from the Aix-en-Provence Paris IV university.
She will introduce you to outdoor painting, in the same way the impressionists did in the XIXth century.
On each outing, Emma will have you try a different technique (charcoal, dry pastels, oil pastels, painting), in various locations on the Bibemus plateau (pine forest, cliff, balconies).
Equipment: walking shoes, water, picnic, painting equipment if you have your own, otherwise it can be provided on demand.
