CDH Algérie - Maroc - Tunisie

The CDHA was set up in 1974 to collect private archives relating to the French presence in North Africa from 1830 to 1962.
The Centre de documentation historique sur l'Algérie, le Maroc et la Tunisie is a registered charity. Its mission is to research, collect, list, conserve and make known documentation in all its forms and in all fields (history, literature, arts, sciences, etc.) concerning North Africa before and during the French presence, as well as the aftermath of this presence.

More than 92,000 documents are currently available to the general public.

The centre organises exhibitions, tours, lectures and film screenings.

Guided tours are available by appointment.

Opening times and Prices

Opening hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm and between 2 pm and 5.30 pm.
