Gardens of the Bastide de Romégas
From 1960, new plantations, such as cedars, accompanied a vigorous restoration and the property became a main residence around 1980.
In addition, a chapel, ponds, wash-house, fountain, viburnum maze. View of Sainte Victoire mountain. All beautifully preserved and maintained. House built in 1660 by the Romégas family, members of the Aix nobility.
Purchased in the 18th century by the ancestors of the present owners, who include the historian, academician and ambassador François Mignet.
The gardens are open to visitors between 1 May and 31 october by appointment.
