Medieval architecture and building crafts ; with a hike along the edge of the plateau de Bibemus. Architecture médiévale et l'art de bâtir au Moyen-Âge avec ballade sur les bords du plateau de bibemus.

This is a shorter version of the preceding workshop (45 minutes at the sculptor/ stone-cutter's workshop in the Bibemus quarry), preceded by a 45 minute walk along the nearby edges of the Bibemus Plateau; views over the Montagne Sainte Victoire, the barrage de Zola, the Sainte Baume Mountain, and the Massif de l'Etoile.The paths can be narrow in places, and the terrain underfoot uneven and rocky; so although the hike is not long nor steep, appropriate footwear is obligatory, as are knees and ankles in good condition.


He has also terminated a master's degree ( maître-ès-lettres) in medieval archaeology at the Université de Provence, art history department.
