Château de la Gaude

Set in the heart of some thirty hectares, this eighteenth-century bastide has been restored to its former splendour and opened up to the world of luxury wine tourism. To enhance your stay in Provence, the estate offers an idyllic and intimate setting for a unique experience.
A family who dreamed of bringing the château back to life, like a sleeping beauty, succeeded in turning it into a unique place to live and enjoy, honouring the art of living around the worlds of wine, art and gastronomy.

The 21 rooms and suites of the boutique hotel, with their refined decor and refined design, are spread around the different buildings of the château like a village. They invite you to relax and enjoy the good life. The renovated salons of the Orangerie and the Chapel, the many terraces, the listed formal gardens and an outdoor swimming pool (in 2020) in keeping with the spirit of the place offer a magical setting for your romantic or family getaway.

At the helm of the four restaurants, one of which is Michelin-starred, chef Mathieu Dupuis Baumal and his talented team rise to the challenge every day of delighting your eyes and taste buds with his contemporary cuisine, inspired by his travels and highlighting the fragrances, colours and flavours of Provence in tune with the seasons.

Château de la Gaude's wines can also be discovered at the restaurant, in the cellar and in the shop, thanks to a wine trail that takes you behind the scenes and reveals the secrets of wine-making from the vine to the bottle.

Spread over 25 hectares of the estate, the vineyard, classified AOP "côteaux d'Aix-en-Provence", is cultivated organically to respect nature and preserve the quality of a confidential, concentrated and fruity production.

The elegantly designed cellar is a showcase for bottles and works of art. In addition to the estate's own wines, you can find a sample of the 20,000 references that the large cellar carefully preserves, and which the wine merchants will be delighted to present to you.
As wine is art, a collection of tools designed to amplify the pleasures of tasting and sharing is on display.

Like a perched village, the estate offers a trendy version of Provence.
