Domaine de Saint Pons bridge

Saint-Pons est un hameau au bord de l'Arc dans un joli site ombragé.
St Pons is a hamlet in a delightful shady site on the banks of the Arc.

There is a fine mediaeval cutwater bridge, listed as a historical monument, a former 16th-century hospice where the Count of Grignan died, and the 17th-century château flanked with two square towers, with outbuildings, on the other side of the bridge they have an old gate in classical wrought iron, with an ornate Louis XIII-style pediment.

See the mediaeval cutwater bridge, doubled in the 17th century and listed as a historical monument.

The poet Malherbe stayed here.
