Domaine de Violaine

Domaine de Violaine is 5 hectares of vineyards, 12 hectares of cereals, 4 hectares of truffle oaks and 2 of olive trees. The estate produces rosé, white and red wines "organic but accessible and using the natural method", in a spirit of environmental preservation.

A veritable jewel of greenery located in Venelles, near Aix-en-Provence.

It's also a splendid bastide dating from the 16th and 18th centuries, with French-style gardens and an undergrowth adorned with picturesque paths.
The bastide was formerly known as Saint-Cyr. It takes its name from Messire Jacques de Violaine, a King's Councillor from a Picardy family who came to Provence in the 1690's. The estate also houses a chapel.
