Granet XXe

The Granet Museum has expanded in the Chapel of the White Penitents, a jewel of 17th century Aix-en-Provence architecture. More than 700 m2 of additional exhibition space is now available to the public.
The Granet Museum's modern art collection expanded considerably in 2010 with the 15-year loan from the Jean and Suzanne Planque Foundation of the collection of Jean Planque, a Swiss painter and collector who died in 1998. In early 2026, the Planque collection will leave for the Jenisch Museum in Vevey, Switzerland.

The Granet Museum is developing a dynamic public outreach policy, considering that access to art and culture for all is a priority.

The Granet XXe site has held the Tourism and Disability label since June 2017.
