L'abrivélo - P+R Kryton
To facilitate bicycle use, La Métropole Mobilité has set up the abrivélo, a network of free, secure bicycle shelters located in the immediate vicinity of bus stations and transit hubs.
Located in the south of Aix-en-Provence, close to the Krypton Park & Ride site, the Kryton bike shelter - P+R makes it easy to switch from cycling to public transport.The park-and-ride facility is linked to the southern districts of the city by a footbridge over the A8, accessible only by bus, bike or on foot.
The site has a 26-space cycle relay.
Line A of the BHNS (Bus à haut niveau de service) has its southern terminus at the Krypton park-and-ride site.
It is equipped with :
- a pump to inflate your tyres
- a workshop to facilitate repairs
- lockers to store your personal belongings (bring a padlock)
- sockets for recharging your electric bike battery
- video surveillance where possible
