L'abrivélo - P+R Plan d'Aillane
To facilitate bicycle use, La Métropole Mobilité has set up the abrivélo, a network of free, secure bicycle shelters located in the immediate vicinity of bus stations and transit hubs.
Located in the Les Milles area, between Aix-en-Provence city centre and the TGV station, the Plan d'Aillane hub makes it easy to switch from cycling to public transport.The Plan d'Aillane site has a 38-space bicycle relay station.
The interchange provides access to the car park-and-ride facility and the Pays d'Aix bus network. The Cartreize network routes, 40 to the TGV-Airport station and 53 to Marseille, remain chargeable.
It is equipped with :
- a pump to inflate your tyres
- a workshop for repairs
- lockers to store your personal belongings (bring a padlock)
- sockets for recharging your electric bike battery
- video surveillance where possible
