Le Cube

It is intended to become the heart of the campus. By virtue of its structure, its location and the equipment on its premises, it is a dynamic tool at the service of the institution, its components, its staff and its users, but it is also a driving force in the cultural life of the campus. To this end, the team in charge of organising and developing the Cube is responsible for coordinating events for the whole of the Schuman campus.

Covering an area of 6,744 m², the Cube houses student services, a catering area, commercial spaces and coworking areas.

The Cube houses a 192-seat theatre which is used for theatre performances and concerts (it is home to the Présence du théâtre Vitez association) as well as for other types of performance, artistic or otherwise, put on by Aix-Marseille Université or other partners. In addition, a 200-seat auditorium called ‘Le Plateau’, equipped to host performances or rehearsals for music, dance, singing or conferences, completes the facilities, as do 7 music and theatre rehearsal rooms ranging from 13 to 100 m², two 100 m² modular meeting rooms and two other 25-seat rooms.
