Le Temps des Savoir-faire
The explanation is simple: they used them daily for a wide range of purposes such as cooking, textiles, crafts, medicine, and even fire-making.
At Le Temps des Savoir-Faire, the goal is precisely to pass on this knowledge of plants, fungi, and minerals through their practical uses, so they can be more easily remembered, their incredible powers discovered, and their value preserved.
For diverse audiences, workshops are organized around the discovery of edible wild plants, basket weaving, wood carving, clay and its applications, rope-making, pigment and paint preparation, and more.
Each workshop begins with a walk in nature to learn how to identify the resource(s) of interest, followed by a hands-on session putting this knowledge into practice.
Take the time to (re)discover nature’s treasures.
Take the time to know-how (savoir-faire in French).

Sustainable tourism
Le Temps des Savoir-Faire chooses local and sustainable sourcing. All materials used are natural and harvested within a limited radius of a few kilometres. Everything is made by hand, using physical energy, regardless of the craft being practised, whether it be ceramics, basketry, painting or wood carving.
They choose to reuse, buy second-hand, repair and use natural materials when selecting their tools.
