The Albertas Gardens

This 8-hectare French-style garden, dating back to the 17th century and a listed Historic Monument, inspired by the Italian renaissance gardens, harbours statues, ponds and pruned box hedges. The Albertas gardens are criss-crossed with 2 kilometres of underground tunnels and there is also an old oil mill nearby.
Every year, the last weekend in May is reserved for the Albertas Plant Festival. An event devoted entirely to rare and Mediterranean plants. On the programme: 180 exhibitors, sale, exhibition of plants, guided tours, activities for children, conferences and musical activities..

Sustainable tourism

"Remarkable" but also exceptional! The Jardins d'Albertas in Bouc Bel Air deserve their label in more ways than one. A rare phenomenon, these magnificent gardens, created in 1640, are still classically composed today. The lines and perspectives of the paths, ponds and fountains, and the cut and structured volumes of the box and yew trees, retain the living imprint of the great century.
An unforgettable place where the 4 successive terraces still exude the harmonious influence of Italy.
An invitation to travel to the splendors of the past, to get away from the hustle and bustle of contemporary life, and to draw the emotion of the present from the balance of nature.
