Heavily involved in community life, the Red Cross of Aix-en-Provence and the Pays d'Aix implements local initiatives daily to combat poverty.
Red Cross social activities: orientation center, food distribution center for eligible individuals, baby clothes, hygiene center, French language learning, well-being, prison outreach, charity shops (clothing, flea market, toys).Heavily involved in community life, the Red Cross of Aix-en-Provence and the Pays d'Aix implements local initiatives daily to combat poverty.
Dissemination of Red Cross values and International Humanitarian Law (IHL) in high schools and middle schools.
Emergencies and first aid: construction of first aid stations, PSC1 (level 1 prevention and first aid) training.
From November to March, the emergency medical service operates throughout the city in the evenings from 7 p.m. For homeless people, call 115.
From July to the end of August, a summer emergency medical service is also available.
