The Gourmet Route is a chance to discover some of the Bouches-du-Rhône’s best artisan food producers through a series of original and delicious visits.
Follow one of the four itineraries (Marseille, Côte Bleue, Pays d’Aix, Alpilles), and discover the department from a gourmet perspective. Forty artisans from the food sector including pastry chefs, chocolatiers, ice cream makers, biscuit makers and confectioners invite you to try the sweet speciality which has made their reputation, and explain how it is created. This speciality, which may be traditional or something with a more modern twist, showcases Provence and its flavours.
Passionate about their creations and selected for their excellence, they will delight in sharing with you their macananas, lingot d’or, pavé de la Canebière…The choice is endless!
Organised by the Maison du Pâtissier and the Bouches-du-Rhône Chamber of Trades and Crafts, the Gourmet Route reflects the region’s desire to promote the food sector and the savoir-faire of French artisans, good food and quality products.
